This page is updated with new information before and following the election or referendum. Once available, results are posted below. 

Important Deadlines

You can vote in person or pick up a ballot at City Hall, or request that one be sent to your home by printing and returning this form or by calling the Clerk's office at (207) 767-3201. (Note: The state's online absentee ballot request system is not available, as there is no state election on June 10.) Voters may vote absentee in person at City Hall during regular office hours Monday-Thursday starting May 19, 2025. The last day to vote absentee without cause at City Hall, or request or pick up your absentee ballot, is June 5, 2025 at 5 PM. All absentee ballots must be returned to the City Clerk's office by June 10, 2025 at 8 PM (election day).

The last day to change your voter registration by mail is May 20, 2025.  

Ballots and Polling Information

There will be a School Budget Validation Referendum on June 10, 2025 from 7 AM - 8 PM. 
All districts shall vote at the South Portland Community Center, 21 Nelson Road.

Note: This school budget referendum addresses the district's operating budget for 2025-26. Pending Council's approval, the vote on the district's proposal for athletic complex improvements will take place at a later date.

    Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30 am to 5 pm; Tuesday 9 am to 5 pm; Friday Closed.

    City Clerk's Office and Finance Office remain open until 6 pm on Tuesdays.
