Casella, the company the city contracts with for garbage and recycling pickup, confirmed with us today that anyone whose trash was not picked up last Wednesday due to the company's snow cancellation may leave bagged overflow trash next to bins for collection Weds. Dec. 31 ONLY. This applies to the Wednesday route only.
All recycling must fit in a bin or be brought to the South Portland Transfer Facility (there is no charge for recycling). Please do not leave loose recycling curbside.
