You can now request your absentee ballot for the November 4, 2025 election! Here is some helpful information:
- You do not need a reason to vote absentee.
- Request your absentee ballot online via the State website. You can also stop by or call the City Clerk's office at (207) 767-3201 to request your ballot.
- If you request an absentee ballot, it will be sent to you in the mail in late September/early October.
- If you would prefer to pick up your absentee ballot or vote absentee at City Hall, you can do this beginning in late September/early October (date TBD once the Clerk's office receives ballots).
- Absentee ballots must be returned to City Hall by 8 PM on election day.
- In addition to regular hours (M, W & Th 7:30 AM - 5 PM and T 9 AM - 6 PM), the City Clerk's office will be open special hours for election services only: Saturday, October 18th 8 AM to 12 PM; Saturday, October 25th 8 AM to 12 PM, and Tuesday, October 28th until 7 PM.
