Joshua Reny has nearly 15 years of municipal government experience, primarily in municipal management and economic development. Since 2015, he has served as Assistant City Manager for the City of South Portland, Maine, and previously served as Town Manager of Fairfield, Maine. Josh oversees several city departments and undertakes a variety of special projects working in close collaboration with the City Manager, executive staff, and City department heads.
Josh is a certified manager through the Maine Town, City, and County Management Association (MTCMA), an active member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and also serves on the Foundation Board for Southern Maine Community College.
Josh received his Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, and his B.A. in International Studies from the University of Maine at Farmington. He is married and has two children.
