Nestled next to busy Highland Avenue, Hinckley Park offers 40 acres, two scenic ponds and even fresh water fishing (license required). One of the most popular walks is to go all the way around both ponds, a distance of approximately 3/4 mile. You can extend your walk by taking the wooded trail up to Stillman Street, on the western end of the park.

The park is a very popular destination and trails are known to be muddy, particularly in spring and fall. Additional information is available on the South Portland Land Trust's website.

View the Hinckley Park Trail Accessibility Guide for a preview of trail conditions/terrain for accessibility considerations before visiting.
