Polling Information
There will be a State of Maine Referendum Election & Municipal General Election on November 4, 2025. Polls will be open 7 AM - 8 PM. Voters can also vote absentee (learn more about absentee voting below). Find your polling location.
Absentee Voting
You can vote in person or pick up a ballot at City Hall, or request that one be sent to your home online or by calling the Clerk's office at (207) 767-3201 . Voters may vote absentee in person at City Hall during regular office hours Monday-Thursday starting October 1, 2025. The last day to vote absentee without cause at City Hall, or request or pick up your absentee ballot, is October 30, 2025 at 5 PM. All absentee ballots must be returned by November 4, 2025 at 8 PM (election day).
Extended Hours for Election Services
The City Clerk’s Office will offer extended hours for ELECTION SERVICES ONLY:
- Saturday, October 18th 8AM-12PM
- Saturday, October 25th 8AM-12PM
- Tuesday, October 28th open until 7PM

City Council - District One (for unexpired term, ending December 2026)
