March 23, 2024 Storm Outages

All public safety and public works crews have been out responding to the storm.  Several roads still have trees and wires blocking them.  Please do not try to remove any trees or limbs that have power lines in them.  CMP is working to restore service across the area.

If you see that a power line or tree or limb has yellow tape on in, the SPFD has already been to check on it; you do not need to call 911 if we have already marked the hazard.

South Portland Community Center is open as an emergency warming center 10 AM-8 PM. The Branch library is also open regular hours.
